RHE Foto-Zine Series
Red Hook launches its Foto-Zine series, with ZELZELE as it premiere issue, to broaden our scope of subjects and themes far from the madding crowd of Brooklyn. And to give an opportunity to photographers and photo-communities world-wide to submit a project to publish as a zine on our website, becoming part of the Red Hook Editions illustrious award-winning line-up.
You can design it yourself, or have a designer do it; or we can help you design the material. It can be a subject or theme that you have been working on; or a curated theme of many photographers.
We are open to all possibilities in the form of an A5 zine (5.8 x 8.3 inches) - 72 pages. It can be B/W or full color. Offset printing: 750 copies.
We seek ingenuity of design that fits into a limited format; not unlike a poetic form; or an elegant equation. Each zine a work of ART!
Each zine will be saddle-stitched singer-sewn with a unique color thread that suits your subject. No staples!
Printing can be done in your country, or at one of the printing houses RHE uses. We will guide you in the process.
We offer the zine at a mere $12 retail, to give a lot of bang for buck; to make it affordable to students.
